About SlideShowPro

SlideShowPro was founded by Todd Dominey of Dominey Design Inc. Originally offering just the Flash component, SlideShowPro was born out of Todd's own need for a simple, easy way to rotate photography on web sites for clients. Sensing that other web designers could benefit from a similar utility, Todd set out to build a consumer application that was not only easy to use, but packed with all the features and customization options seasoned Flash developers would appreciate. After several months of development, SlideShowPro was launched on February 14, 2005.

Shortly after the launch of SlideShowPro, developer (and SlideShowPro user) Brad Daily built a server-side, PHP/MySQL application to make publishing photos and data for SlideShowPro easy. Named SSPAdmin, the application was "the missing link" for a number of users who needed an easy way to publish XML and format photos for SlideShowPro. Later that year Todd and Brad joined forces — Daily for development, Dominey for graphic design and template development — and took SSPAdmin to the next level with SlideShowPro Director.

Since then, both SlideShowPro and SlideShowPro Director have been consistently updated with new features, most often based on feedback received by the thousands of SlideShowPro users around the world. Today, Todd and Brad are busier than ever developing new ideas, product updates, and supporting the ever-increasing number of people using both products.

Todd Dominey has been involved in graphic design and web development since the mid 90's. Through his design studio Dominey Design, Todd has designed and developed a wide array of interactive work for clients including Budweiser, Motorola, Rolling Stone, The Washington Post, and Blogger. Todd is also well known for his design work on numerous PGA tournament sites, as well as being a principal founder and Creative Director for Super Deluxe, the comedy video web site launched by Turner Broadcasting in Spring 2007. Todd is also a published author (Professional CSS), and has been a featured speaker at conferences like SXSW and An Event Apart.

Brad Daily is an expatriate web developer currently living in Montreal, Quebec. For the last four years, he has worked as the Communications Director for the Canadian Convention of Southern Baptists, guiding several interactive projects to connect people with the organization's work across Canada. Leveraging Flash, Ruby on Rails, PHP and MySQL, Brad has completed ground breaking projects with small teams on limited budgets. Brad writes about anything from software development to the rise and fall of his beloved Bulldogs, Braves and Jayhawks at his blog, bradleyboy. When he isn't perched in front of a Mac, Brad enjoys exploring new Montreal restaurants, playing golf, picking on his guitar and watching Jack Bauer have really bad days. He lives in Montreal's Mile-End district with his wife Nora and their budgie Lilly.
