No, you're not seeing things. This example is exactly the same as the previous Skyscraper example, but with one notable difference — the images are black and white. What's so great about that? Well, while the images may appear different, they're actually the same photos the Skyscraper example is loading. SlideShowPro for Flash is dynamically converting them all to black and white.
This is possible thanks to Pixel Bender, a new bitmap manipulation technology built into Flash Player 10 and Flash CS4. SlideShowPro for Flash supports Pixel Bender by giving Flash developers the means to apply any Pixel Bender filter to their slideshows to dynamically alter slideshow content, navigation thumb links, navigation link previews, and album previews when loaded.
This provides photographers a non-destructive option for presenting different slideshows of the same content without creating additional images. You simply embed a filter in your movie, assign it to the content you wish to modify, and publish.
