The following is a "plain English" overview of our product licensing and usage. Please refer to our legal page for more detailed EULA information.
The SlideShowPro player (including SlideShowPro for Flash, SlideShowPro for Lightroom, SlideShowPro Standalone) and the accessory component SlideShowPro ThumbGrid are offered with two types of licenses: Single User and Corporate.
A Single User license for any of the aforementioned products allows you to install and use the product on two computers owned and used exclusively by you (for example, a desktop and laptop computer). A Corporate license can be shared between an unlimited number of employees at a single company / organization; even if the employees work at different physical locations.
SlideShowPro Director — our server-side content management and publishing product — is licensed per domain. Each license for SlideShowPro Director gives you an activation key which may be used to activate the product when installed at your web site. For those who need multiple installations of SlideShowPro Director, we offer discounted 10 and 20 license packs for your convenience. If you would rather let us host and maintain an installation of SlideShowPro Director for you, we offer Director Hosting Subscriptions, which come with a license to use the product as part of your subscription.
Both the Single User and Corporate licenses for the SlideShowPro player allow licensees to publish an infinite number of slideshows for themselves, their employer, or their clients, as long as the published SWFs are not embedded as part of a template, application, and/or web site where SWFs are re-sold and/or re-distributed for independent use by third parties. For the latter, we offer an OEM license that is subject to an approval process. Contact us for more information if necessary.
As for SlideShowPro Director usage, you may share a single installation of the product with other users, and publish content to SWFs embedded either at the same domain as Director, or remote domains. It is not technically possible to subdivide Director's content library per user, so if you need separate content libraries and users for a particular project, you will need to purchase an additional SlideShowPro Director license to setup a new installation. Activation keys may be transferred and re-registered to new domains at any time, so keys are not locked down to where the product was originally installed.
