1. Gallery screen
ThumbGrid 2 doubles screen display options with a second "Gallery screen" that presents thumbnails of all the albums in a gallery. Click a thumbnail, and ThumbGrid either displays the album's content or requests that album in your main slideshow. Gallery thumbnails can also be sized differently to visually set them apart.
2. Independent content browsing
Browse all album content, directly in ThumbGrid, without first requesting the album in the SlideShowPro player. This allows you to independently view a different collection of content in ThumbGrid than what's currently displayed in your main slideshow.
3. Fixed thumbnail sizing
Already know what size thumbnails you want? ThumbGrid 2 expands the original component's "fluid" sizing with fixed sizing inputs. When used, ThumbGrid 2 automatically spaces thumbnails for a balanced vertical and horizontal alignment. You can even turn off automatic spacing so they flow together as a single group.
4. Titles
ThumbGrid 2 can display album, photo and video titles inside each thumbnail element. They can be displayed inline, as a layer, and at the top or bottom of a thumbnail for albums, content, or both. All the expected controls for text sizing, color, padding, etc are included.
5. Image load effects
ThumbGrid 2 expands the original component's image load animation (a fade-in) with more unique styles, including "Slide", "Mask", "Zoom Out" and "Diagonal." Expect to see even more load effects in future updates!
6. Video buttons
If video is loaded in your slideshow, ThumbGrid 2 communicates its media type by (optionally) displaying a video play button on top of thumbnails. You can scale and color the graphic however you need.
